Combined Heat & Power Plant

After 3 years of planning, work has commenced on the Civils for our Combined Heat & Power Plant.

This represents the largest investment that the company has ever made and is a commitment to a new generation of local power & heat generation. Where fuel is sourced locally, heat is distributed locally and power is used locally. Cutting environmental impacts at every stage.

We are targeting a four month build of the plant, to be in the cold commissioning stage by the turn of the year. With power production commencing in early 2023. The output of the plant is 5.5MWt of heat converted to 1MWe via a thermal oil ORC module, operating on a local authority SWIP permit. Fuelled with Refuse Derived Fuel [RDF]

Much more information to follow, but incredibly happy that we are now out of the ground.
